CTC - Capacity Building Core

The Capacity Building Core develops and delivers educational curricula and trainings to expand the network of scholars and clinicians with the skills and knowledge required to conduct rigorous, ethical research and improve health outcomes in justice settings. Activities include: research education, mentoring, networking, and resources for scientists/researchers; justice, treatment, and health practitioners; and journalists and community members.

LEAP Investigators and Scholars Program

The Capacity Building Core, which is part of JCOIN’s Coordination and Translation Center (CTC), has launched the Learning Experiences to Advance Practice (LEAP) education program to support investigators and scholars with training and knowledge to conduct research and build research capacity within justice and health settings.
