Testing Implementation Strategies to Scale Up a Multicomponent Continuum-of-Service Intervention for Families Involved in Systems with Parental Opioid and Methamphetamine Use

This study evaluates Just Care for Families (JCFF), a developing practice that supports parents and children with interconnected needs related to substance use, mental health, relationships, and system navigation. Nine rural Oregon counties are testing JCFF with and without a new mobile app to assess its clinical impact at key points of interaction with child welfare, as well as its effectiveness as it expands to new counties. The study also examines how adding the mobile app influences program implementation and long-term sustainability.

Study Aims

Test clinical effectiveness of JCFF when delivered with digital supports in a sample of parents recruited from active and new counties

Test effectiveness of the JCFF implementation roadmap for new counties

Assess impact of the introduction of digital strategies on program sustainment
