Reentry Best Practices for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders: A Course for Correction Leaders
Welcome to JCOIN’s Course on Reentry Best Practices for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders. This course was developed by Addiction Policy Forum, the Correctional Leaders Association (CLA), and JCOIN to share the best practices in criminal justice settings to ensure successful reentry for people who have substance use disorders.
The course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and will cover topics from screening and assessment, withdrawal management, evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders, and release planning.
