Public Health SUSTAIN | Sequential Intercept Model
Public Health SUSTAIN is a series of short courses designed for anyone who works with people with justice involvement. Through the courses in this series, we will examine the intersection among the criminal justice system and public health with an emphasis on substance use, mental health, and criminal justice involvement. Course 5 (this course) defines the sequential intercept model and discusses interventions that can take place at each intercept.
Go at your own pace and take any course in the series that interests you. You will receive a badge for each course you complete and a special badge for completing the entire series.
This course is sponsored by the Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN), an initiative funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
