Public Health SUSTAIN | Risk-Need-Responsivity and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria
Public Health SUSTAIN is a series of short courses designed for anyone who works with people with justice involvement. Through the courses in this series, we will examine the intersection among the criminal justice system and public health with an emphasis on substance use, mental health, and criminal justice involvement. Course 3 (this course) provides an overview of the Risk/Need/Responsivity (RNR) Model and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) placement criteria.
