This course offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced learners an entrée into implementation science. While this course, developed by JCOIN, uses examples primarily drawing on research in health and criminal-legal settings, the principles found herein apply broadly and will interest anyone seeking an introduction to the theory and methods of implementation science. Learners seeking a basic understanding may find their needs met by the course introduction. Those wanting more can explore three additional modules that address the application of implementation science within a large study collaborative and offer a panel discussion in which prominent members of the field share how they use implementation science to advance their work. Learners who complete all four modules will receive a certificate of completion.
