Methods/Analytics Technical Assistance
Time-limited consultation is available to the applicants for Research and Innovation Hubs (RFA-DA-25-025 and RFA-DA-25-062) from JCOIN’s Methodology and Advanced Analytics Resource Center (MAARC) and from JCOIN’s Coordination and Translation Center (CTC). The MAARC provides expertise and support to the JCOIN network in the following domains: data and analytics support (data harmonization, linkage, and storage), geospatial analytics, policy analysis, mechanistic modeling and network analytics, and survey design and implementation.
Technical assistance will be offered via online expert consultations up to a maximum of two 30-minute-long sessions per application free of charge. Expertise is available in two broad areas: recommendations on available recourses, including publicly available datasets and other products of JCOIN 1.0 network, and on methodologic questions. Methodologic questions may include study design and analytic approaches for a wide range of study types, e.g. randomized controlled trials, observational studies, administrative data analyses, analyses of electronic health records, data linkage, modeling studies, geo-spatial analyses, network data analyses, qualitative data analyses, etc. As part of the technical assistance for Research and Innovation Hub applicants, the MAARC and the CTC will not be able to perform any new data analyses or review drafts of the applications. Receipt of the technical assistance from the MAARC or the CTC is not required for the successful application. The MAARC and the CTC will have no influence on funding decisions. Funded proposals will become a part of the JCOIN network and will benefit from a wider array of technical assistance resources available through the MAARC and the CTC.
If you are a potential applicant needing a technical assistance relevant to your JCOIN application, please complete this form. Our goal is to reply within 5 business days.
