Paid Internship Opportunity in Summer 2023: Join the JEAP Initiative for an Internship focused on Recovery Support Services

Join a team at the JEAP Initiative, a five-year project funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, which aims to advance research on recovery support services for substance use disorder. Interns may be involved with a variety of projects depending on skills and interests, including identifying existing research publications and resources related to the research priorities generated by the JEAP Initiative Community Boards and conducting literature reviews and reviewing real-life examples of innovative ways Medications for Opioid Use Disorder are being implemented. Interns will also receive training and mentoring, and participate in informational interviews to learn about different career paths. We value lived experience, and thus there is a preferred qualification for individuals with lived experience with substance use issues or the justice system. This internship will be conducted entirely remotely.

For Summer 2023, our internship will be through the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Summer Research Internship Program. This program supports undergraduate students with a focus on increasing underrepresented populations in substance use and addiction research. Through this program, students participate in full-time, paid research internships for eight weeks during the summer.
