        Hey everyone!

The JCOIN website features a monthly pop-up poll. It is a quick, informal pulse check on topics related to justice, health, substance use, and the research landscape. These aren’t scientific surveys, just a simple way to engage visitors and spark conversation around issues that matter to the network.

        Some recent examples:

        • “How often are you currently using AI tools in your research or practice?”
        • “Which formats help you learn most effectively about new research?” (live now)

We rotate these out monthly-ish and we’re always looking for fresh ideas. This is where you come in. If there’s a question you’ve been curious about, drop it in a reply below.

A few guidelines for good poll questions:

        • Keep it to a single, clear question
        • Works best with 3โ€“5 answer options
        • Doesn’t need to be scientific โ€” just relevant and interesting
        • Topics can range from research practices to policy opinions to professional development

We may pull from this thread when planning upcoming polls and credit the contributor in our internal updates.

        Looking forward to your ideas.
